As of the writing of this report the portals across the island are still down. How this was achieved, precisely, is unknown at this time, however it has been confirmed to be the work of the Archdevil mentioned previously.

Then scouting mission mentioned in my previous report, into Old Stonehold, was conducted shortly after the discovery of the destroyed portals. Myself, Isendel, and Danaria were present from Myon. Councillor Dante and his scribe Miss Amolyn were present from Cordor. Upon entering the ruins we came across Frejan Seraph and Lord Silverarms from Light Keep who were there for training it seems.

An exploration of the ruins revealed a lab similar to the one discovered in the Bloodmoon lair, although the experiments here were not viable. There was also the same presence of cold, which I counteracted with fire magics. Most disturbingly there was a pentagram drawn in blood, the lines of which contained, in repetition, the names of the 50 souls (all human and elven it seemed) that were bound by dark magic to the spot.

A combined effort between Councillor Dante, Frejan of Oghma, and myself resulted in a cleansing of the pentagram which in turned freed the imprisoned souls, one of which lingered to talk to us until we were interrupted by Godo, at which point the spirit fled. The spirit said the 50 bound were all artisans and enchanters, forced to work on the devil's creations. He mentioned that they had worked on something to disrupt the portals, but could not remember what. He also mentioned a number of well dressed humans, although the way he described them, as all being particularly attractive, calm and charming, leads me to believe they also may be an experiment of sorts.

Little else was gained from this expedition other than reconfirming our previous info, freeing the trapped spirits, and hopefully slowing this archdevils plans up as much as the disruption of the portals will ours.

I have received word that a group of Drow from a particular group or caste have been regularly entering the Arcane Tower. For what purpose is unclear at this time. My contact within the tower claims they are not of the Sorcere however and that the house they all belong to has a name beginning with a q. While it is more difficult to do so now that the portals are down, I will be having someone watch the tower for an idea on frequency and the numbers involved in these visits, as well as someone trying to learn more about why they are there to begin with and also why, if it is known to the tower they are entering, the tower has not taken better measures to prevent this

Vistigor Torkill claims to have information regarding the situation with the Portals. The veracity of this claim is as of yet unproven, and personally I think his information may either be old news filtered down or pure conjecture. He is trying to trade this information to Cordor for the right to preach his religion freely and openly within the city, and perhaps other privileges.

On a related note, Celawyn Liamyn, mentioned in previous reports as the one responsible for death threats against kin, is strongly believed to be a Banite. He is often seen in the company of Sanctra Veritas, Valorie Slades, or other known Banites. I will be investigating to see if his threats perhaps came from a higher authority.
