The past week has been a place of great turmoil for a character of mine, and it's been a very meaningful ride, with ups and downs, and it's pushed Nelehein out of his shell, more than once. (and then arguably pushed him back inside of it, so he might become even huskier than before). He's been a sort of "downward slope" for awhile now, and I think the turning point has been reached.

There was much uncertainty, and I wasn't really sure where things would turn up. It was the most drama I've been a part of in a very long time, and the theme of loss, love, and death has always had a considerable impact on my characters. I doubt that will change, but I think the 'bump' of it has been put behind, for the most part.

There were moments where I thought there might be a descent to a brooding LE Mephistopheles dread knight wishing to build utopian dynasties on deception and brutality. Or here I thought I could have a Rorschach 2.0.

It's been an interesting turn of events, so I'm just going to list off a bunch of people I'd like to applaud - because you've given me a better experience here, you've stimulated interaction, development and growth in more ways than you might think, and because you've been dedicated to your characters. I think that's arguably the most important.
