Welcome to the temporary boards! The idea here is to have something to fall back on if ever the main website suffers prolonged downtime like it is at the moment. In other words, this will always be in the background as a "just in case" measure.
This time we suffered another hard disk failure. Jess has decided to part ways with her old host because of recent reliability problems, and has just set up with a new host. She is having a bit of a hectic time at the moment, so it will probably be at least a few days before the main website is up.

That all depends on who has what backups. I'm sure someone has backups somewhere (I don't, by the way). It's just a case of finding and restoring them.

By the way the artwork cropped at the top of the forum here... it almost looks pornographic, the expression on her face, the crop of the hand.. .heh. Love the logo though, looks tops.

Hey, it was just ripped from the old front page. Before the fora and website were separate. And that's probably how it'll go back to being again once things have calmed down and Jess gets a spare moment to donate to Arelith.

Jess has backups of the old website, as well as Mith. They are automatically backed up every Friday, so at MOST we lost a week, but we likely just lost a few days.

And I've just got multi-line quotes working! Before it wasn't nesting properly so the code to make sure the layout doesn't break helpfully stepped in and stopped quotes from spanning more than one paragraph.

I'm afraid not. The temporary boards you see now are hosted on my own server. She's clearly focusing on paying customers first. You would probably have better luck getting an ETA by asking her directly (I don't think she checks these boards).
